A flanged ball valve has integral flanges on both ends and is bolted between pipeline flanges with gaskets. This makes installation and removal straightforward – no welding or threading on site – which is why flanged valves dominate in process plants, pumping stations and utility headers above 2".
As a flanged ball valve manufacturer in India, we supply flanged end valves in two-piece, three-piece, three-way, trunnion-mounted and lined designs.
Flange standards and facing
Flanges can be drilled to ANSI / ASME, DIN or BS standards, matching your pipe flanges. Raised-face is standard for most process lines; please specify if your line needs a different facing. Always share the flange standard and class with your enquiry – a “4-inch flanged ball valve” can have different bolt patterns under different standards.
Choosing a flanged valve design
- Two-piece flanged – the workhorse for general isolation.
- Three-piece – where in-line maintenance matters.
- Three-way flanged – to divert or mix flow.
- Trunnion mounted – large sizes and high pressure.
- PTFE lined flanged – corrosive acids and chemicals.
Installation notes
- Align pipe flanges before bolting – do not use the valve to pull pipes into position.
- Tighten flange bolts in a cross pattern to an even torque.
- Install in the open position after flushing the line, to keep debris away from seats.
- Large valves should be supported independently of the pipe.

Frequently asked questions
What flange standards do your flanged ball valves follow?
Flange drilling to ANSI / ASME, DIN or BS standards, as specified in your enquiry.
What is the largest flanged ball valve you supply?
Our flanged range goes up to 24" (600 mm). Larger, high-pressure sizes are typically trunnion mounted.
Can flanged ball valves be automated?
Yes. Flanged valves can be supplied with gearbox, pneumatic or electric actuators.
