A Teflon lined ball valve has its internal wetted surfaces – body, ball and stem – encapsulated in PTFE. The metal body provides strength and pressure containment, while the PTFE lining resists almost all acids, alkalis and solvents. The result is a valve that handles aggressive chemicals at a fraction of the cost of a solid alloy valve.

Where PTFE lined ball valves fit

Limits to keep in mind
PTFE has temperature and vacuum limits, and lined valves are not intended for abrasive slurries that can wear the lining. Please share media, concentration, temperature and pressure (including any vacuum) so we can confirm suitability.
