A mini ball valve is a one-piece, reduced-bore ball valve machined from solid stainless steel bar. Its small size and low weight make it perfect where space is tight – instrument panels, pneumatic circuits, gauge isolation, sample points and equipment skids.
Typical configurations
- Female × female, male × female and male × male threads.
- BSP or NPT threads.
- Lever or compact butterfly-type handle.
For larger bores or higher flow, choose a two-piece threaded ball valve. For hydraulic pressures, see high pressure ball valves.

Frequently asked questions
What is a mini ball valve?
A compact, usually one-piece, reduced-bore ball valve machined from bar-stock for small-bore lines.
Are mini ball valves full bore?
No, mini ball valves are normally reduced bore. Use a two-piece valve if full bore is required.
Which threads are available?
BSP and NPT threads in female and male combinations.
